What is Dental Monitoring?

Dental Monitoring is a revolutionary smartphone app that allows Dr Griffiths to track your treatment progress remotely. Instead of visiting our practice for regular appointments, you can simply send us weekly photos of your smile and wait for our feedback!

If everything is going well, we won’t need to see you at our practice as often. This means you can continue your treatment from home, the office or even on holiday. We are the only practice in Taunton to offer Dental Monitoring for all Invisalign^® and fixed braces, and if we can extend it to your other orthodontic treatments, we will!

How does Dental Monitoring work?

When you visit Confident Orthodontics for your free consultation, we will use our 3D scanner to make a digital model of your smile. This model will integrate with our Dental Monitoring software, and allows us to track what your smile should look like in every step of your treatment.

Once you download the Dental Monitoring app to your iOS or Android smartphone, you can send us weekly photos of your smile through the app. We will match the photos you send us against your projected treatment progress to ensure your treatment is going as planned.

If your smile is taking to treatment well, we may even recommend you switch to a new set of aligners - effectively speeding up your treatment time.
