Invisalign^® for teens

The teenage years are full of studying, sports, after school activities and busy social calendars - and the last thing a teen wants is to add a complicated treatment to their schedule. That’s why Invisalign^® for teens is so popular. Teens won’t have to change their routine.

What is Invisalign^® for teens?

Invisalign^® for teens is the same treatment as Invisalign^® for adults - with one distinct difference. We customise teen aligners with blue wear indicators to help busy teens remember to wear their aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day.

Beyond that, teens can take their Invisalign^® clear aligners out for meals, social events and regular oral hygiene as needed. The aligners won’t even get in the way of sport or musical instrument practice - making this the perfect teen treatment.

How does Invisalign^® for teens work?

Invisalign^® clear aligners are tailored precisely to your teen’s smile. We will design a series of custom aligners to take your teen through treatment from start to finish. Each set is shaped a bit differently to slowly guide their smile into alignment with gentle pressure.

To progress through their treatment, teens just need to switch to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks or so as requested by Dr Griffiths. And, thanks to the Dental Monitoring app, teens can check in with us remotely instead of coming to our practice for appointments.
